Alexis originally hails from da' Burgh, formally known as Pittsburgh, PA. After completing her BFA at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts Stella Adler Studio, Alexis leapt or shall we stay stumbled upon the stand-up comedy scene performing at venues such as StandUp New York, The Village Lantern, and the like, while enjoying other acting opportunities on the stage at the New Ground Floor Theater and on the HBO series Chat Zone.

Her career took a detour as she chose to attend medical school in PA.
After her adventures in medicine, she returned to NYC to hop back on the comedy bandwagon, pursue voice over work, and acting.  She chronicles her journey from med school to NYC in her one woman show, Med School Dropout.

Her dream in life is to consume carbonara, lie in corpse pose, and lose weight simultaneously. Her biggest heroes are her parents because they currently hold the world record for knowing her the longest, without trying to kill her.
